Gather Your Team and Hit the Green

Rome, NY – April 22, 2025 – The Griffiss Institute is proud to announce its upcoming charity golf tournament, Strokes of Genius: Golf for a Cause, taking place on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Cedar Lake Club. This all-day event is more than just a day on the green—it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of STEM education, support rising startups, and champion community-driven innovation.

Proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Griffiss Institute’s nationally recognized mission: developing top-tier STEM talent, accelerating technology innovation, and building a sustainable pipeline of problem-solvers for the nation’s defense and economy.

“Strokes of Genius brings together the spirit of competition with the power of purpose,” said Melissa Tallman, Chief Brand Officer of Griffiss Institute. “Every swing supports the next generation of innovators, and every connection made on the course strengthens the future of STEM, startups, and our community.”
