A local version of the TV reality show “Shark Tank” is coming to Rome next month — with the goal of promoting the transfer of technology used by the military to the commercial sector.

If you’ve never seen the ABC show, here’s how it works: Entrepreneurs pitch their idea, product, or service and make an offer to a panel of investors, also known as “sharks,” who ultimately decide to either invest or pass on the opportunity to make a deal with each entrant. [keep reading]
