Innovare Badge Access Request

The Innovare Advancement Center is designed to support seamless and productive visits for all guests. Please review the following guidelines to ensure the appropriate access for your visit:

When the Visitor Access Form is Required

The form below must be completed if:

  • Unescorted access is needed (e.g., visiting multiple rooms/labs or returning over multiple days without an escort).
  • The visitor is a Foreign National (non-U.S. citizen).

Action Steps:

  • Submit the form at least 5 business days prior to the visit (10 days for Foreign Nationals).
  • For unescorted access requests, wait for email confirmation from Guest Relations before arriving to pick up a badge.
  • Upon arrival, proceed to the Guest Relations desk on the second floor for check-in. The host will provide any necessary escorting.

When the Visitor Access Form is NOT Required

The form below does not need to be completed if:

  • The visit is short in duration (e.g., a tour, a meeting under 3 hours, or if the guest will be escorted by a Griffiss Institute/IAC host).
  • The guest is attending an event in the second-floor public space (e.g., Coffee & Concepts, a conference, or a ceremony).

Action Steps:

  • Bring a valid photo ID.
  • Upon arrival, sign in at the Guest Relations desk on the second floor. The host will provide an escort or direct the guest to the event space.

Directions to the Innovare Advancement Center

The Innovare Advancement Center is located at 592 Hangar Rd., Rome, NY 13440.

  • Enter through the revolving doors and proceed to the second-floor welcome center.
  • For guests unable to use the stairs, an elevator is available to the right upon entry.
  • Check in at the welcome desk, where Ms. Amy James, the Senior Guest Relations Specialist, will assist with the check-in process.

The Innovare Advancement Center is a world-class open innovation campus, home to the Griffiss Institute, where talent is elevated, innovation is empowered, and experiences are enabled. All visitors are encouraged to take full advantage of the facility’s unique offerings.

Due to the severe weather conditions and state of emergency declared by the City of Rome, Rome Labs & Innovare Advancement Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. This closure affects all Griffiss Institute staff, residents, guests, and program participants, including STEM campers, interns, visiting faculty, fellows, and incubator clients. We will resume normal business hours of operation on July 18, 2024.
