Distributed Autonomous Everything: Cryptocurrency Ecosystems and the Benefits of Blockchain Architectures and Smart Contracts

ROME, NY — The Griffiss Institute and the Cyber Research Institute, together, present a Dine & Development Training Series Workshop: Distributed Autonomous Everything:

Cryptocurrency Ecosystems and the Benefits of Blockchain Architectures and Smart Contracts, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, at Mohawk Valley Community College, Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave, Rome, NY. The cost to attend is $15 and includes lunch. Interested parties are asked to register by Tuesday, June 26, at www.griffissinstitute.org/dineanddevelopment.

The Dine & Development Training Series is a collaborative effort, bringing together local businesses, Air Force Research Laboratory researchers, and academia to expose and inform the Central NY business and research community on technology-driven topics of common interest, and to also promote business development by providing networking opportunities among researchers and attendees.

Topic: Distributed Autonomous Everything
This presentation will cover the pros and cons of the growing number of cryptocurrency ecosystems and the benefits beyond the cryptocurrency domain of the various blockchain architectures that are gaining momentum in the virtual currency world. These existing architectures include novel advancements in peer-to-peer networking, cryptography, game theoretics, “invisible network” protocols, and deceptive communications strategies.

In addition to the traditional blockchain architectures, we will discuss the explosive interest in smart contract constructs that have been leveraged by the Ethereum Network and have been key enablers of Distributed Autonomous Organizations. Discussions will focus on some novel applications of these concepts as well as the Initial Coin Offerings (ICO’s) which are empowering a new wave of entrepreneurs seeking venture capitalist funding.

Finally, we will discuss the convergence of Artificial Intelligence with Blockchain and also speak to the next generation of disruptive technologies in IoT and Distributed Autonomous Everything (Dax).
