Join the First-Ever Griffiss Institute Coloring Contest
This unique illustration brings STEM to life through the lens of creativity. Designed for students in grades K–12, this STEAM-themed activity encourages the fusion of science, technology, engineering, and math with artistic expression.
If your student is participating in one of Griffiss Institute’s STEM camps this summer, they’ll receive a coloring sheet to take home. Sheets are also available at the Welcome Center located on the 2nd floor the Innovare Advancement Center (592 Hangar Road, Rome, NY), or can be downloaded from this page and printed at home.
Submission Deadline: August 31, 2025
Submit completed entries in one of the following ways:
- Drop off in person to the Welcome Center located on the second floor at the Innovare Advancement Center during business hours
- Scan or take a picture and submit digitally via the button below:
2025 STEM Camp Metrics
Contest Categories and Prizes
One winner will be selected from each of the following grade groups:
- Elementary School (Grades K–5)
- Middle School (Grades 6–8)
- High School (Grades 9–12)
The winner from each group will receive a custom full-color poster of the illustration featuring their winning design. Posters will also be available for purchase online, allowing families to showcase their student’s creativity as a lasting keepsake.
Submission Requirements
To be eligible, each submission must include the following information:
- Student name
- Grade level
- Parent or guardian name
- Parent or guardian phone number
- Email address
- City and state
Entries will be accepted from students across the United States. Winners will be notified following the submission deadline of August 31st, 2025.
We welcome all creative approaches! Whether inside the lines or out, every submission helps celebrate the intersection of STEM and imagination.
Note: By submitting, you grant Griffiss Institute permission to share your child’s artwork (first name and grade level only) in related promotional materials, including web, social media, or printed content.
