Guest Essay: Oneida County Will be Bigger and Better in 2022

Anthony Picente, Guest Columnist – With 2021 officially over, we have closed out another year of the pandemic with the vision and action of a bigger and better Oneida County still intact. While the impact of COVID-19 has slowed down some projects and delayed others, the signature pieces of our community’s growth have continued with little or no interruption.

While the pandemic brought the building of Nexus to a halt, work will soon be resuming, and it is anticipated that the facility will be open and hosting tournaments in 2022. In 2021, we officially opened the Innovare Advancement Center at Griffiss International Airport. . .
