CRI's Mission
The mission of the Cyber Research Institute (CRI) is to grow research, development, training, and testing for advanced technology solutions and cybersecurity best practices to leverage Central New York's expertise through research partnerships and collaboration with industry, academia, federal and state governments.
CRI's Goals
The goals of the Cyber Research Institute are :
- To provide a venue for research and development including technology transfer of DoD technologies for commercial applications
- To foster collaboration providing opportunities for acquiring new funding sources
- To create research partnerships and linkages between local businesses and academia to grow the tech base of Central NY
- To assist in new business creation and expansion bridging the technology gap between “prototypes” and ‘market ready products”
