Director of Technology Partnerships & IP Activation
As the Director of Technology Partnerships and IP Activation, the incumbent is the Griffiss Institute’s partner-facing technology scout. They will conduct detailed analyses of emerging inventions and disclosures and identify game-changing technologies with commercial and defense applications that are more market ready. This work is framed by the relationship of GI to the AFRL-RI as a Partner Intermediary. To aid senior AFRL-RI and GI leaders, you will prepare briefings, summaries, and papers describing the future technology landscape and areas of collaboration with industry and partners. The incumbent must be comfortable seeking out, scheduling or creating impromptu, one-on-one and small group meetings – bring a coffee mug and your tennis shoes as you will become the hallway hero in the AFRL-RI facility! Finally, recording data and tracking project management and customer relationships will be a daily routine.
