Transfer
Technology Transfer is the sharing or transferring of information,
data, hardware, personnel, services, facilities or other scientific resources
for the benefit of the private or public sector. In 2008 the Griffiss Institute
entered into a partnership Intermediary Agreement with the Air Force Research
Laboratory (AFRL), Rome NY to become an agent for technology Transfer (T2). The
services we perform for AFRL T2 are:

Technical Assistance
Congress passed specific legislation encouraging technology transfer
in 1980. Since then, Congress has continued to strengthen technology transfer
through additional pieces of legislation. The White House has also initiated new
programs emphasizing the transfer of technology to stimulate the economy and to
improve the international competitiveness of American industry.
